About the role:
As a waiter or waitress in BARBOUNIA and Lounge you join a dedicated team of professionals providing our guests with exceptional breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner experiences. In this role, you will take orders, provide information about the menu and dishes, deliver excellent service and handle the settling of bills. You will carry out preparation of service, such as mise en place and assist the Food & Beverage team of the hotel with set up and service of events and meetings.

BARBOUNIA and Lounge are located in a stunning glass courtyard with spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows. BARBOUNIA celebrates authentic cuisine from the South of France, Italy and Greece. Open daily from 6:30 a.m. until midnight, shifts can start as early as 05:00 a.m. and finish as late as 01:00 a.m. Please keep this in mind when applying for this position. Our team consists of hosts, waiters, barista’s and stewards. Together with the leadership team, we strive to make every visit memorable.

To be a successful Waiter/ Waitress candidate, you will have:

• Prior experience in similar positions at high-end restaurants;
• Affinity with Mediterranean food and wine;
• Excellent knowledge of English language;
• Living in or around Amsterdam.
