About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the Room Service Department, the Room Service Manager is the Head of the Room Service Department. The Room Service Manager reports to the F&B Director.

As Room Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensure optimal customer satisfaction for Room Service requests.
  • Organize and coordinate the Room Service team’s work.
  • Manage and supervise the staff, ensuring service efficiency. 
  • Enforce service standards (LQE, Forbes, internal group standards).
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP hygiene standards.
  • Monitor Room Service operations, including employee management and performance.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of procedures to guarantee service reliability and efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints and conflicts professionally.
  • Manage budget compliance (financial objectives, cost management, reporting).

As Room Service Manager we expect from you:

  • To have a 5 years of experience as a Room Service Manager in a 5-star hotel or Palace.
  • Enforce hygiene, safety standards, and ensure service aligns with hotel standards (LQA), adapting to unforeseen events.
  • Coordinate between teams (staff, kitchen, reception) and redistribute tasks as needed for smooth service.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication, and maintain an impeccable appearance to represent the hotel’s image.
