Located on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese, one of the most unspoiled and breath-taking landscapes in the Mediterranean, and 45 minutes’ drive from Kalamata International Airport.
The beachfront resort is part of the sustainable resort destination of Costa Navarino, a well-established tourism destination which includes 3 other resorts. It comprises of 99 suites and villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with seven restaurants and bars.
Scope of Position:
The Revenue Analyst primarily manages the revenue functions for the hotel ensuring all revenue tasks and projects are processed in an efficient, professional, and pleasant manner. Assists the Director of Revenue with budgeting, forecasting, pricing and handles Revenue Operations in the absence of the Director of Revenue and when required. Supports the Reservations Team with reservation-related tasks as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures the smooth running of Revenue operations and maintains standards within budget.
- Conducts regular audits of Global Reservations Centre, GDS, Third Party Sites, Property Manager, and other systems to ensure accuracy in rates, packages, promotions, and availability.
- Creates and distributes the daily, weekly and monthly reports in the absence of the Director of Revenue or as required.
- Is responsible for taking large sets of numerical data and extracting from them valuable information about the company's revenue, which management can use to make business decisions.
- Creates reports from, but not limited to, Data Vision, Travel Click, OTA Insights and Fourteen IP.
- Participates in the weekly revenue management meetings and reports preparation.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Is under the guidance of Director of Revenue and is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue and market share through inventory and pricing controls.
- Supports pricing, yielding for Group business as well as Leisure.
- Follows up on No-Show, reservations cancellations and new high rated reservations to ensure no business loss.
- Assists the Director of Revenue and takes ownership in absence of the Director of Revenue.
- Ensures all duties are completed according to Mandarin Oriental standards for the Reservations Department.
- Supports the Reservations Team with reservation-related tasks as needed.
- Performs any other reasonable duties as required by the Director of Revenue, Director of Commercial Strategy, Hotel Manager and General Manager.
Qualifications / Experience:
- EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in revenue management with similar responsibilities is required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in reservations in luxury resorts or hotels with related responsibilities will be considered as a plus.
- Excellent communicator, with effective verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English. An additional language will be considered as a plus.
- Ability to work with multiple systems and applications like spreadsheets, databases, work processing, property management software's, Booking engine, OTA Extranets, Yield management systems and computers.
- Availability to work in rolling shifts, as well as on weekends and bank holidays.
- Flexibility to work from Costa Navarino when necessary.
