People & Culture Coordinator

As People & Culture Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Answers incoming telephone calls, directs calls to appropriate department, or response to requests, as necessary
- Serves as direct support staff to Director of People & Culture and Staff Restaurant
- Obtains data and information necessary to assist in responding to inquiries
- Maintains appointment calendars for Director of People & Culture and keeps them informed of scheduled commitments
- Receives, sorts and distributes department mail
- Coordinates and copies all end of month closing HR Reports and their distribution
- Coordinates and copies all contracts and agreements and their distribution
- Controls inventory for office supplies and requisitions
- Assists with special projects as assigned by the Director of People & Culture
- Conducts department induction for newly hired colleague
- Establishes and maintains training and personnel record files for department colleagues.
- Assist to prepare meeting paper and presentation for ExCo and Board Meeting and Owners Meeting
- Assist in the maintenance of the daily department attendance, monthly attendance record to Pay Master
- Assists Director of People & Culture in the administration of legal and insurance matter and guest’s claim
- Coordinates and copies all periodic MOHG report – twice a year: CSAQ + follow up, ISAQ + follow up, MOHGIL (Interim Annual Control and Compliance Assurance Return & Annual Control and Compliance Assurance Return), Annually: RAM, CapEx Spillover.
- Follow up on Hotel Log Entry and update Director of People & Culture as and when action is required
- Maintains departmental storage records at warehouse
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of People & Culture
As People & Culture Coordinator, we expect from you:
- Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management/Human Resources is preferred or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment or related experience
- Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
- Local national is preferred
