Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for marking all newly received linen and placing in proper storage in clean environment, then issuing to the relevant departments and employees.
Receives, sorts and double checks condition of all linen, records all outgoing and incoming from the laundry thoroughly before storing and issuing.
Separates items in need of repair or possible discards and reports then daily.
Seperates the hotel and residence linens and uniforms.
Issues linen according to established procedures only, i.e. dirty for clean, or against requisition.
Issues clean linen to the restaurants.
Keeps linen room and shelves properly organized and clean. Ensures that all items are neatly folded, hanged and stocked in their proper place.

Have a minimum of 1 years experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment.
