Income Audit Manager

As Income Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Produce Daily, Weekly, Bi-monthly & Monthly Revenue Reports for management reporting
  • Prepare GUI reconciliation and GUI data disc for VAT reporting purpose
  • Accomplishes all internal control audits as stipulated in MOHG P&P
  • Ensure all revenue recorded in the Front Office and F&B PMS system are in compliance with MOHG Policy and Procedure. Any deviations shall be reported to the Assistant Director of Finance immediately for rectification action
  • Audits daily in-house guest and city ledger balance with general ledger closing balance in SMS system
  • Responsible for the smooth operation of Income Audit Manager section
  • Audit Rooms, F&B and MOD revenue and ensure it balances with settlement, service charges and taxes paid by the hotel guest/company
  • Perform settlement type balancing by sorting and segregates Front Office guest folios in accordance to settlement type such as cash, credit card and city ledger
  • Investigates and corrects errors and discrepancies discovered in the audit process, reports any significant findings to the Assistant Financial Controller
  • Review adjustment, miscellaneous charges on a daily basis to ensure appropriateness and that miscellaneous credits are supported by proper justification and authorization
  • Verifies tenant and vendors’ invoices for services charged to in-house guest paid to the hotel
  • Conduct surprise cash count audit
  • Performs audit in cash and credit card discount, void checks, refund checks, captain order, official receipt, open table and IDD calls
  • Post revenue and corresponding settlement transaction into Sun general ledger accounting system to produce revenue financial statements
  • Verifies and prepares No Show Report on a weekly basis
  • Perform month end closing activities; prepares and inputs corresponding journal entries accordingly
  • Prepares Cess reports on an on going basis
  • Performs monthly reconciliation of balance sheet relating to Income Audit Manager
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of audit completion
  • Back up duties when Income Audit Manager absent
  • Adhoc tasks assigned from time to time

As Income Audit Manager, we expect from you: 

  • Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management/Finance/Accounting is preferred or equivalent
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment or related experience
  • Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
  • Local national is preferred
