About the Job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, the Floor Supervisor reports directly to the Head Housekeeper. 

As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for :

• Maintain cleanliness standards
•  Distribute and control keys
•  Handle lost property
• Respond promptly to customer requests
• Be responsible for safety by ensuring that corridors and offices are tidy so that they do not obstruct emergency exits
• Be responsible for customer safety: report suspicious behavior or unusual objects, etc.
• Participate in the training of new subordinates and the ongoing training of others
• Ensure smooth shift transitions
• Organize the work of subordinates
• Welcome and serve customers according to the hospitality principles of a 5-star hotel, in line with the expectations of the Mandarin Oriental Group and Swiss Deluxe.
• Handle customer complaints according to the LQE procedure and refer complaints and all customer comments to management.
• Adhere to and apply the Mandarin Oriental principles set out in “Our Commitments.
• Floor Supervisor will be in charge of afternoon/evening shifts.

As Floor Supervisor we expect from you: 

• Previous experience in laundry and dry cleaning
• Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Good communication skills and a flexible attitude.
• Valid Swiss work permit or European passport.
