We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Finance to lead our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in hospitality finance and strong leadership skills to ensure the financial integrity and profitability of the hotel. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the General Manager and Regional Finance leadership.

Principal Accountabilities:

• To maintain the treasury, legal licenses, tax documentation and controls regarding these areas.
• To ensure that financial reports, forecasts and budget controls are prepared to MOHG guidelines and reported punctually and accurately
• To monitor economic, social and governmental trends and policies to ensure that the General Manager and MOHG corporate management are kept full informed of any implications which may affect the performance of the hotel in meeting its financial objectives.

• Authorization of Purchase Orders
• Information reporting, both internal and external
• Delegation of duties, Motivation of colleagues

• To carry out annual appraisals on all team members
• To conduct departmental orientation for all new team members
• To carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by the General Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Director of Finance or similar senior financial leadership role
• Good knowledge and adherence to the P & P Manual
• Good English and Czech is an advantage
• Independent thinking, flexible, positive attitude
