About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Room Division in Hong Kong, the Baggage Master is responsible for providing quality service in a friendly, natural, courteous manner and always be attentive. The Baggage Master reports to the Chief Concierge.

As Baggage Master, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Welcome guests at the hotel entrance and lobby area

  • Assist guests with carrying their luggage while in hotel premises

  • Deliver and collect luggage from/to guest rooms

  • Assist guests for transportation arrangements and ensure guests are correctly directed to their destinations

  • Ensure guests are satisfied with our service and assist them as much as possible

  • Handle lost baggage cases

  • Ensure that incoming facsimiles, telexes and cables for guests and internal departments are properly handled and keep proper records of them

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time

As Baggage Master, we expect from you:

  • Related working experience in hotel/ guest services

  • Good communication skills in both English & Chinese

  • Ability to multi-task and work as a team

  • Dynamic and energetic
