It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will assist to manage the day to day operation of the restaurant. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will also help in creating a pleasant dining environment and experience for guests.
• Helps to supervise the daily Mosaic operation, and maintains the highest standard of service established by the hotel
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Helps to appraise colleagues’ performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
• Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
• Train new and current colleagues on proper customer service practices
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
• Ensure effective implementation of the IMS policy and procedures
• Ensure continuous training and awareness of the IMS system
• Ensure OTPs are monitored and acted upon
• Identify areas of improvement through CPAR or suggestions
• Ensure operational compliance to legal regulations and other requirements
