Based within the Group IT Department in London, the Technology Project Leader will lead the end-to-end execution of hotel and branded residence openings across Mandarin Oriental. The role reports to the Vice President, Technology Operations.
As Technology Project Leader, you will be responsible for:
Leading the planning and delivery of hotel and residential openings and management takeovers, ensuring alignment with brand vision and compliance with Product Standards and Guidelines.
Collaborating with design and development teams to uphold brand standards.
Overseeing FF\&E and OS\&E procurement, ensuring premium quality and timely installation.
Acting as liaison between ownership groups, brand teams, and operational leaders.
Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with IT, People & Culture, Finance, Operations, Technical Services, and Marketing.
Conducting site visits and progress reviews with developers and contractors.
Coordinating pre-opening activities including training and system implementation.
Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect timelines and brand reputation.
Ensuring adherence to MOHG Technology product standards and Information Security guidelines.
What we expect from you:
5+ years of IT experience with international exposure, including 3+ years in hospitality.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Expertise in hotel systems integration, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Strong experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
ITIL Foundation or higher; PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
