About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office in Holborn within the People & Culture Department, the Talent Acquisition Manager will support the Commercial & Brand division in all Recruitment, Onboarding, Engagement and Retention initiatives. The position will collaborate closely with Commercial & Brand leadership teams to ensure that P&C initiatives align with business goals and foster a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.

As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will responsible for the following duties:

Talent Acquisition

  • Works with the Commercial & Brand people managers to identify recruitment needs

  • Proactively sources talent through effective employer branding, networking and strong market presence. Has a good understanding of pro-active sourcing techniques like Linked-In.

  • Ensures cost effective methods of recruitment are utilised at all times.

  • Maintains an awareness of marketplace activity including salaries, benefits and competitor activities.

  • Working closely with Regional Director of P&C on Early Careers (Campus) resourcing initiatives through building and maintaining relationships with relevant universities to offer internships and management graduate programs as well as work with their alumni groups to position the brand as one of the leading hotel groups.

  • Participates in other Business Partnering areas when and where required including P&C administrative support, creating functional strategies and driving performance.

Additionally, the successful candidate will also support business partnering and delivery of the Mandarin Oriental long-term strategic vision setting and implementing talent management strategies that enable the corporate offices to acquire a premium position within the commercial and brand segment in the hospitality industry and focuses on developing our internal talent.

Candidate Onboarding

  • Deliver engaging onboarding experiences that accelerate new hire integration and productivity.

  • Collaborate with managers to ensure onboarding plans are tailored, consistent, and aligned with company values and culture.

  • Monitor onboarding feedback and continuously improve processes to enhance new hire satisfaction and retention.

Employer Branding & Social Media

  • Promote the organization as an employer of choice through internal and external channels, including LinkedIn and internal platforms like Global MyMO.

  • Support the development and execution of social media campaigns to enhance the visibility of the brand and attract top talent.
