About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Security Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Security Officer take full responsibility for enforcing hotel security policies and procedures in accordance with Mandarin Oriental corporate guidelines and ensure compliance to all local, state and federal regulations. The Security Officer reports to the Director of Security, Safety & Health.

As Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Create a safe and secure environment for our guests and colleagues by ensuring regular patrolling around the hotel parameters

• Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for the department

• Assist in the development and training of all employees on all OSHA related rules and regulations

As Security Officer, we expect from you: 

• Good knowledge of Basic First Aid/CPR and Fire Safety

• Willingness to develop team members and self
