About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou, within the Sales & Marketing Department in Guangzhou, the Sales Manager is responsible for the servicing and management of specific accounts within an assigned area.  They will assist the Director of Sales in focusing and motivating the sales team to achieve the room night goals for their particular market segment as laid out in the Marketing Plan.

The Sales Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Sales.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Explore new sources of business by developing new contacts
• Be responsible for room night and revenue production from allocated accounts
• Monitor competitors’ performance where it relates to their particular market segment
• Entertain executives and secretaries of potential travel companies and in-house guests to ensure future business for the hotel
• Conduct on-site inspections for the existing or prospective travel influencers, decision makers and end users
• Be aware of current market trends and supply competitor activity information to the Director of Sales & Marketing
• Participate in sales trips and, when required, complete all sales reports within 1 week of trip
• Prepare weekly sales call reports
• Perform other tasks, projects and assignments as designated by Hotel Management

As Sales Manager, we expect from you:

• Minimum 3-year relevant working experience in the international hotel industry.
• Knowledge of Luxury Agent and other responsible market segment.
• Excellent presentation and proactive communication skills in both
• verbal and written in English and Chinese. 
• High flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Possess a friendly, energized and outgoing personality.

关于职位

该职位位于广州文华东方酒店市场销售部，销售经理负责所指定市场客户的维护和管理，协助销售总监，按照销售计划，通过激励其他销售人员的方法，完成本市场划分区域的销售目标。销售经理向销售副总监汇报。

作为销售经理，你将负责以下职责：

• 发展新客户
• 负责划分市场间夜量和收入的最大化
• 负责监控竞争酒店本市场划分区域的业绩情况
• 为确保争取到潜在的生意，宴请该旅行社的行政人员、秘书和在店客人
• 带领现有和潜在旅行社决策者、决策相关人和终端客户参观酒店。
• 留意市场供求情况，竞争酒店活动信息，并向市场销售总监汇报。
• 在需要时，应出差去外地进行销售拜访，并在结束的一周内完成所有的销售报告
• 准备每周的销售拜访报告
• 执行任何管理层委托的工作

作为销售经理，我们期望你具备以下能力：

• 至少三年以上国际酒店行业从事销售相关的工作经验
• 对高端旅行社市场及所负责的行业版块有一定的了解
• 具备优秀的中英文口头和书面表达能力及积极主动的沟通技巧
• 具备在压力下高度灵活的工作能力
• 具备友好、充满活力和外向的性格
