As Room Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Sales team
  • Custodian and administrator of the Delphi and other technological sales tools
  • Proficient in the operation of personal computer and the Delphi System
  • Maintain and update mailing list through Delphi System
  • Well versed in all aspects of the hotel’s facilities
  • To ensure all typed correspondences are in accordance with MOTPE prescribed standards and maintain accuracy at all times including all forms
  • To ensure all correspondences are effectively copied to relevant departments and Regional Sales Offices and trace dates effectively followed up
  • Ensuring all incoming correspondences are forwarded to the respective managers upon receipt with the date stamped and time recorded
  • Constantly clearing the OUT trays to avoid any delays in the discharged of correspondences
  • Handling of telephone calls to take messages, new enquiries, check room availability for both functions & guest rooms
  • Be accountable for all targets and goals set for area of responsibility
  • Abide by the hotel’s grooming standards to project the luxury image of the brand
  • Assist with any other reasonable duties required by the DOS and the DOSM
  • Awareness and sensitivity to the concept of luxury and quality
  • Responsive and genuine with customers
  • Incorporates customer information as part of strategy
  • Understands the value of employees, customers and profit link
  • Sustains performance
  • Can use planning tools in relation to customer needs
  • Confident with customers
  • Highly visible and will build relationships with regular and long staying guests

As Room Sales Coordinator, we expect from you: 

  • Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment
  • Local national is preferred
