About the job

Based within the Housekeeping Department in Barcelona, the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. This role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to the standards set by Mandarin Oriental.

• Replenishing guestroom and bathroom supplies.

• Handling guests’ personal belongings with the utmost care and professionalism.

• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or lost property.

• Assisting with the preparation of rooms for VIP arrivals.

• Supporting public area cleanliness when required.

• Ensuring trolleys and work areas are always kept clean and organized.

• Upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

What we are looking for:

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable, professional, and discreet.

• Comfortable in a multicultural, luxury hotel environment.

• Basic English is a plus.

• Previous experience in a similar role is valued, but not essential—we provide training.
