Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is looking for a Rising Fan – Rooms to join our Housekeeping team.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Housekeeping Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Rising Fan – Rooms is responsible for scheduling and assigning cleaning and maintenance tasks to housekeeping colleagues on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The Rising Fan – Rooms reports to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

As Rising Fan – Rooms, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Ensures Legendary Quality Experience (LQE) standards are fully implemented, maintained and executed throughout the department to meet and exceed guests’ expectations and is accountable for achieving the goal of Guest Loyalty and Satisfaction Survey (TrustYou) and Mystery Shopper (LQA).
  • Supports, creates and promotes a climate of enthusiasm; maintains a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance, feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and colleague commitment. Ensures departmental practices are compliant with Mandarin Oriental policies and legal requirements.
  • Inspects, checks, and releases hotel rooms for arrivals, creates daily task sheets for housekeeping colleagues with special projects and traces, monitors stock in pantries and acts accordingly.
  • Coordinates within Housekeeping and other departments for arrangement on VIPs’ arrivals and departures
  • Maintains an overview of the daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, traces, and important guests in house.
  • Trains, coaches and motivates housekeeping colleagues to achieve the highest quality standards.

As Rising Fan – Rooms, we expect from you: 

  • EU passport or Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
  • Previous relevant experience within the luxury hospitality.
  • Valid drivers’ license.
  • Fluency in English. Greek or any other additional language will be considered as a plus.
  • Strong overall computer literacy, not limited to MS Office.
