As a Purchasing Manager, you will assist the Director of Finance in the responsibilities of controlling the hotel business in respect of Purchasing and Materials Management. You will play a key role in ensuring the operation of our procurement process and maintaining high-quality standards while optimizing costs.
The main focus of your job will be:
Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to meet the hotel's operational needs and financial objectives
Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality products and services at the most competitive prices
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
Oversee inventory management including stock levels, storage and rotation to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
Collaborate with department heads to understand their procurement requirements and provide effective solutions
Monitor market trends and pricing changes to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
Manage a team of purchasing staff, providing guidance, training and performance evaluations

Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel environment
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers
Very good knowledge of Czech and English at a communicative level

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
