SHIFT PATTERN ( 40 hours, 5 days per week)

We’re looking for a Housekeeping Porter to join our vibrant and dynamic Housekeeping Team.

Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is the newest jewel to be opening in Mayfair. It’s another world; an oasis of calm in the heart of the city, with the most attentive service. A world that’s all about our guests.

As a key member of our housekeeping team we are looking for a porter to ensure that pantry and the guest rooms areas are well stocked and in an immaculate condition and ready to support the team as needed.

As a Housekeeping Porter at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating customer care and deliver genuine service in order to create a warm and comfortable environment for our residents, guests and colleagues.
  • Managing linen stock level of the floors according to the floor occupancy as well as monthly inventory stocktake
  • Ensuring pantries are stocked and a safe environment to work in.
  • Removing soiled linen and empty rubbish bins from the floor pantries.
  • Separating the bed linen from the terry in the linen cages, ready for daily collection.
  • Performing special cleaning which could include high dusting, carpet cleaning and window cleaning.

 

As a Housekeeping Porter, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, afternoon, and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
