About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Office within the Operational Excellence Department in Hong Kong, the Operational Excellence Central Lead is responsible for identifying, tracking and supporting profitability improvement opportunities across the Group's global portfolio, while partnering with property, regional and corporate stakeholders to drive operational performance and continuous improvement. The Operational Excellence Central Lead reports to the Senior Operational Excellence Central Lead.
As Operational Excellence Central Lead, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Analyse financial and operational performance across the Group to identify profitability improvement opportunities and areas of underperformance.
Partner with hotel leadership teams, Regional Vice Presidents and Corporate functions to develop, implement and monitor action plans that support growth and operational excellence.
Track agreed targets, project execution and financial impact through key performance indicators, providing regular reporting and governance updates.
Support operational excellence initiatives, including labour management projects, best practice sharing and strategic improvement programmes across the Group.
As Operational Excellence Central Lead, we expect from you:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of experience in Finance, Commercial Performance, Operational Excellence, Consulting or a related field.
Strong financial and operational acumen, including analytical, reporting and financial modelling capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive execution and deliver results through collaboration across multiple functions and levels.
