About the job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, the Marketing & Communication Intern will support the hotel’s branding, public relations, and digital marketing initiatives. This role contributes to enhancing the hotel’s visibility, strengthening brand identity, and engaging audiences through creative campaigns. The trainee reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager and works closely with the Marketing & Communication teams.

As Marketing & Communication Intern, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Marketing Support

• Assist in developing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital assets.
• Support the execution of promotional campaigns and partnerships.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Communication & PR

• Draft press releases, newsletters, and social media content.
• Coordinate media requests and influencer collaborations.
• Maintain photo and video archives for marketing use.

Event Support

• Assist in planning and executing hotel events and activations.
• Prepare logistics, decorations, and promotional materials for campaigns.

As Marketing & Communication Intern, we expect from you:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in branding, digital marketing, and hospitality PR.
• Creative mindset with basic design or content creation skills.
• Good command of English and excellent writing ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
