Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within People & Culture Department in Hong Kong, the Learning & Development Officer is responsible for monitoring departmental training activities and supporting the Learning & Development Management in delivering learning initiatives while creating a learning culture within the Hotel. The Learning & Development Officer reports to the Director of Learning & Development.

As Learning & Development Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Support various Learning & Development functions which include planning and organizing training activities, assisting in company-wide colleague communication and engagement activities

  • Provide administrative support to maintain intact training records for internal and external audits

  • Assist in hotel’s internship programme which includes recruitment, onboarding, visa application and other administration during the student's internship period

  • Assist in monitoring departmental training plan, training record and administer Learning Management System

  • Maintain effective communications regularly from Learning & Development to other colleagues through various channels

As Learning & Development Officer, we expect from you:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources or Hospitality Management or relevant disciplines

  • Minimum of 2 years Learning & Development experience

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Attention to details

  • Strong computer and administration skills

  • Approachable, team player and self-driven
