About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within People & Culture Department in Hong Kong, the Learning & Development Officer is responsible for monitoring departmental training activities and supporting the Learning & Development Management in delivering learning initiatives while creating a learning culture within the Hotel. The Learning & Development Officer reports to the Director of Learning & Development.
As Learning & Development Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Support various Learning & Development functions which include planning and organizing training activities, assisting in company-wide colleague communication and engagement activities
Provide administrative support to maintain intact training records for internal and external audits
Assist in hotel’s internship programme which includes recruitment, onboarding, visa application and other administration during the student's internship period
Assist in monitoring departmental training plan, training record and administer Learning Management System
Maintain effective communications regularly from Learning & Development to other colleagues through various channels
As Learning & Development Officer, we expect from you:
Degree holder in Human Resources or Hospitality Management or relevant disciplines
Minimum of 2 years Learning & Development experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Attention to details
Strong computer and administration skills
Approachable, team player and self-driven
