About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair within the Housekeeping Department in London, the Housekeeping Porter is responsible to maintain pantries and the guest rooms areas well stocked and in an immaculate condition and ready to support the team as needed. The Housekeeping Porter reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

As Housekeeping Porter, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • Demonstrating customer care and deliver genuine service in order to create a warm and comfortable environment for our residents, guests and colleagues.
  • Managing linen stock level of the floors according to the floor occupancy as well as monthly inventory stocktake
  • Performing special cleaning which could include high dusting, carpet cleaning and window cleaning.

As Housekeeping Porter, we expect from you: 

  • To be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, afternoon, and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
