About the job

The hostess takes care of reservations for BAR 8 and, if necessary, for any other outlets, and manages the reservation system, including the database with customers' respective preferences. In addition, the hostess welcomes and accompanies guests, with the aim of delighting and satisfying each guest. If necessary, she assists and carries out all operational tasks and duties required in the sales outlet under the direction of the respective managers.

As Host/hostess, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide a personalized welcome to customers at Bar 8 and Restaurant Camélia,
• Run the checkroom,
• Accompany customers to their table,
• Control the flow of customers,
• Ensure excellent customer service in line with Mandarin Oriental Group quality standards.

As Host/hostess, we expect from you: 

• Impeccable presentation,
• Excellent interpersonal and service skills,
• Initiative and enthusiasm,
• Fluency in English essential, a 3rd language would be highly appreciated.
