About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Rooms Division in Shenzhen, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for meeting and exceeding guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous Front Desk services in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. The Front Desk Agent reports to the Front Desk Manager.

As Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Provide quality service with colleagues to the guests by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout the guest’s experience
  • Check cash float at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure at all times that amounts are correct
  • Handle guests’ incoming and outgoing correspondence, (facsimile, messages, mail, etc.)
  • Address special guest preferences recorded in guest history profiles
  • Perform assistance to guests in any area of the hotel

As Front Desk Agent, we expect from you: 

  • Related Front Desk working experience in hotel
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong desire to provide excellent guest service
  • Passionate, adaptable and flexible
