About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the F&B Department in Milan, the F&B Admin Intern reports to the F&B Management Team.

As F&B Admin Intern you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, correspondence, and briefing documents for internal and external use.

• Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency.

• Attend daily pre meal/communication meeting.

• Take meeting minutes, distribute action points, track progress, and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Maintain an organized filing system, including confidential documents and records, ensuring accessibility and security.

• Support with administrative tasks as required.

• Occasionally support F&B Service Team during Breakfast/Lunch/Happy Hour/Dinner.

• Always provide excellent service to all our guests.

• Anticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything.

• Manage sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.

As F&B Admin Intern, we expect from you: 

• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

• Be able to relate to all levels of guests and management.

• Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest.

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language and Italian.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Professional appearance and demeanour at all times
