About the role:
As our Door Host, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, playing a key role in shaping their overall experience. In this role, you can take personal pride and ownership of the guests' arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless and welcoming process. Your role will include:

• Greeting guests: welcoming guests warmly, providing directions, and assisting with any immediate needs upon their arrival;
• Coordination: introducing guests and visitors to the front office team and coordinating luggage delivery with the luggage porters;
• Logistics: arranging transportation and overseeing valet parking;
• Personalised service: staying informed about guests visiting any of our outlets and ensuring that each interaction is personalised to create a memorable, 5-star experience.

Throughout your workday, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of all guests, ensuring each interaction is tailored to their needs and expectations. Your goal is to leave our guests with a lasting impression of our excellence and hospitality.

On the lively Van Baerlestraat, we greet those stepping into a world of luxury—whether they are hotel guests, visitors exploring our elegant boutiques, or those indulging in our exceptional restaurants and serene wellness centre. Meanwhile, our Courtyard entrance, where valet parking adds an extra touch of ease, is the gateway for guests arriving by car. As a Door Host, you are the first to set the tone for their journey—welcoming them with warmth and elegance.

To be a successful Door Host candidate, you will have:

• At least two years of experience in a similar or related position;
• A courteous and friendly attitude towards guests, always offering a helping hand;
• Detailed knowledge of Amsterdam’s hot spots and hidden gems;
• Proficiency in English (Dutch is preferred);
• Availability for shifts ranging from 08:00 to 23:00, including weekdays and weekends;
• A valid driver’s license (license B).
