Based at the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office, the Director – Corporate Finance & Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for leading financial strategy, business planning, and capital allocation across the Group. The role provides analytical and strategic support to senior leadership and the Board, oversees financial planning and corporate finance activities, and drives value creation across a global asset portfolio. The position reports to the Group Head of Finance (or equivalent).
As Director – Corporate Finance & FP&A, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Provide financial insights and strategic advisory support to senior leadership, contributing to informed decision-making
Lead the preparation of Board materials, including performance reviews, strategic analysis, and investment proposals
Support corporate strategy development and execution through financial modelling and scenario analysis
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the Group
Establish and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, reporting, and analytics
Lead corporate finance activities, including mergers & acquisitions, divestments, and capital raising initiatives
Manage end-to-end transaction processes, including due diligence, valuation, and stakeholder coordination
Oversee the performance of a global asset portfolio, supporting capital allocation and value optimisation initiatives
Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
Lead treasury activities, including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships
Ensure appropriate financial risk management and compliance with relevant covenants
As Director – Corporate Finance & FP&A, we expect from you:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
Significant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, and strategic financial planning
Proven track record in transaction execution, including M&A or capital raising
Experience managing or analysing large-scale asset portfolios
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Board-level audiences
Solid understanding of treasury, capital markets, and financial risk management
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
