The Hotel

Renowned Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier, have created a sophisticated residential design for the 100 rooms and 53 suites, including several one-of-a-kind specialty suites, featuring unique design elements inspired by the hotel’s historic connections to the city, Spanish culture and art.

With a stunning and meticulous restoration that celebrates César Ritz’s pioneering spirit, a prestigious central location, five restaurants and bars overseen by one of Spain’s most celebrated chefs and exceptional leisure and wellness facilities, Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is set to become the city’s most luxurious hotel.

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

Social Media

  • Responsible of managing all Digital and Social Media Platforms for MRMAD with major focus on building the “growth” of our Social Media Channels (focus in Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TripAdvisor).
  • To act alongside PR Manager (Hotel Spokesperson) as the Hotel Social Media spokesperson.
  • Responsible of the Social Media Strategy Plan: Owned, Paid and Earned Media.
  • Curating, creating audiovisual, visual and written content – liaising when appropriate with the relevant departments within the hotel to secure needed information.
  • Development of Monthly Editorial content strategy for all social media activities.
  • Design and execution of the Paid Media Plan (Social Ads, Display, SEM).
  • Plan and management of influencers relations (hunting, seeding and contact, commitment design, negotiation, briefing development, follow-up, monitoring, reporting).
  • Support Director of Marketing & Communications in maintaining and building close relationships with leading industry related bloggers and web editors with a view to achieving the maximum and properly positioned online exposure.
  • Close liaison with our Corporate Social Media Team to craft specific promotions via social media and to oversee updates.
  • Responsible for our Monthly Reporting on Social Media statistics and analytics.
  • Social Media listening duties.
  • Build and maintain a close relationship with other Digital Marketing Responsible in order to lead the Digital hotel voice in the local hospitality industry.

Website

  • Responsible for managing MRMAD website, ensuring the hotel website is continuously updated and changes are submitted to head office, in correct format as needed.
  • Responsible for all monthly website content updates as well as menus updates for F&B, Wellness Studio, Rooms and any other department.
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of competitor movements and promotions, as well as our monthly competitors report.
  • Determine areas of opportunity, making recommendations and implementing efforts to increase website traffic, maximize content consumption.
  • Responsible of our Monthly Reporting on Web Analytics.

 

Photography and videography

  • Responsible of art, photography, video, and layout design, for the omni channel business.
  • Coordinating and scheduling projects within local creative partners, as well as managing the creative team’s day-to-day performance, ensuring project goals are met, adhering to approved timelines and budgets.
  • Determine areas of opportunity, making recommendations and implementing efforts to maximize content consumption.

 

Customer Relationship Management

Responsible of strategies and tactics to meet local DDBB objectives (creation, awareness, website traffic).

On-line partners

  • Liaising and build relationships with online partners on promotional opportunities such as competitions, promotions, events, etc.
  • Proactively leverage the brand’s robust content and portfolio of digital products.
  • Responsible of all digital projects, i.e.: brand videos, F&B weekly recipes, 360º room tours, etc.

Other

  • Assist with developing Annual Marketing Plan and yearly Budget instructions.
  • Responsible of the Digital Marketing Plan.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • At least 7 years of experience in a Marketing & Communication environment, preferably withing the Travel & Hospitality industry, Fashion or Luxury Goods
  • Independent and critical thinker with experience in leading data-driven, marketing strategies across a wide-variety of channels
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with and across teams and to function well in a larger company and global environment
  • Results and detail oriented, highly organized, and creative self-starter
  • Fluent in English and Spanish languages.
  • Must hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field – communications, public relations, or marketing
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Great time management and problem solving skills
