About the Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, within the Finance Department, the Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and optimising all food & beverage and operational costs to ensure effective cost management and profitability across the hotel. The Cost Controller reports directly to the Director of Finance.

As Cost Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Controlling and analyzing all Food & Beverage costs, including daily and monthly variance reports.
• Conducting regular spot checks and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborating closely with the Purchasing, Kitchen, and F&B teams to optimize cost efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and company standards.
• Preparing and submitting monthly reports and cost analyses for management review.

• Weekly F&B Cost analysis.

As Cost Controller, we expect from you:

• Proven experience in cost control or finance within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in cost control systems and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP or similar ERP tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• Fluency in English; French or another European language is a plus.
