Located on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese, one of the most unspoiled and breath-taking landscapes in the Mediterranean, and 45 minutes’ drive from Kalamata International Airport.

The beachfront resort is part of the sustainable resort destination of Costa Navarino, a well-established tourism destination which includes 3 other resorts. It comprises of 99 suites and villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with seven restaurants and bars.

Scope of Position:

The Butler service is provided to Signature Suites throughout the guest stay ensuring a professional and personalized service from pre-arrival, arrival to departure. All preferences and guests’ requests need to be attended to in a courteous and efficient manner as per the Mandarin Oriental standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greets guests at the lobby and conducts in suite check-in and check-out.
  • Offers welcome drinks and cold towels to arrival guests.
  • Introduces resort facilities and services to guests.
  • Conducts Suite orientation and hotel tours.
  • Meets with guests daily in order to review their daily program.
  • Attends to guests' luggage and belongings as per guest preferences in packing, un-packing, storage, etc.
  • Has full knowledge of all resort services, hours, and locations around the resort.
  • Follows and anticipates all the guests' needs until they are completed to the total guest satisfaction and follows up Alice App requests.
  • Supports other departments, such as Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Room service, and liaises with them on anticipated Guest check‑ins, check‑outs, room assignments and rooming list.
  • Takes care of the guest's requests and liaise with respective departments for: laundry, wake up calls, spa bookings, etc.
  • Ensures that all V.I.P.'s rooms are checked prior to guests’ arrival and ensures room is ready as per guest preference prior to arrival.
  • Makes sure that Guest Suites are fully replenish with amenities, F&B supplies, and flowers.
  • Monitors and maintains the inventory of supplies and amenities.
  • Ensures all required tools are prepared and ready at the beginning of each shift.
  • Keeps concerned departments informed about guests' allergies and food preferences.
  • Ensures all guest preferences and requests are noted and communicated to the rest of the Butler and Guest Experience team, ensuring all can carry out personalized service to the guest throughout the stay.
  • Ensures all data and preferences of the guest are retrieved prior to arrival.
  • Carries out proper hand-over to other shifts handling the guest, ensuring the guest preferences are always followed through.
  • Completes other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Butler, Director of Guest Experience, Assistant Director of Rooms, Hotel Manager and General Manager.
  • Attends daily briefing at the beginning of each shift.
  • Attends and contributes to all meetings, Departmental and Hotel trainings.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar Butler or Guest Relations position in a luxury hotel/resort.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management will be considered as a plus.
  • Fluency in English. Greek or any other additional language will be considered as a plus.
  • Strong overall computer literacy, not limited to MS Office.
  • Prior experience in opening a luxury hotel environment will be taken into consideration.
  • Availability to work in rolling shifts, as well as on weekends and bank holidays.
