About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Brand Strategy Manager to join our Brand & Customer team within the leading Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Based in London, this global role will be instrumental in defining and executing brand strategy across our portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Brand Strategy & Innovation, you will play a key role in ensuring that our brand positioning, strategy, and vision are consistently implemented across all hotels and business verticals to elevate the brand, drive performance, and enhance guest satisfaction.

As a critical member of the team, you will act as a brand custodian, working across multiple departments including development, technical services, digital, marketing, and more. You will take ownership of brand strategy execution, delivering key projects, and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Execution

  • Support the Director of Brand Strategy & Innovation in defining and evolving the brand strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Execute and implement strategic initiatives across hotels, business verticals, and corporate functions to enhance brand consistency and elevation.
  • Assist in the development of strategic frameworks for new hotel openings, hotel repositionings, and portfolio-wide brand projects.
  • Create and deliver brand strategy briefings for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on brand vision and priorities.

Project Management & Coordination

  • Lead the execution and delivery of brand-related initiatives, managing multiple projects and timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee budget planning and monitoring across the Brand & Customer team

Data-Driven Insights & Strategic Thinking

  • Utilize market research, guest insights, and competitive analysis to inform and refine brand strategy and roadmap.
  • Analyze brand performance data, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable recommendations to drive guest satisfaction and business performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, or related roles within luxury hospitality, travel, consultancy or premium consumer brands.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-market environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Strong strategic, creative, and analytical thinking with the ability to translate insights into compelling brand strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using data and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Passion for the luxury hospitality sector and an understanding of evolving guest expectations.
