About the Role
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, the Bartender is responsible for creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional beverage service and innovative cocktail preparation in our bar outlets.
The Bartender reports to the Bar Manager.

Key Responsibilities
As Bartender, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving drinks with precision, creativity, and flair, in accordance with hotel standards

• Providing exceptional, engaging, and personalized guest service

• Ensuring bar mise-en-place is ready and well-stocked for every shift

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the bar area

• Recommending beverages and upselling premium products to enhance guest experience

• Collaborating with the Bar Manager to innovate new cocktails and seasonal menus

• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations

What We Expect From You

• Proven experience as a Bartender in luxury hospitality (minimum 2 years preferred)

• Passion for mixology, spirits, and guest interaction

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A proactive and positive attitude with a sense of responsibility

• Fluent in English (Spanish and/or Catalan are a plus)

• Able to remain calm under pressure and deliver outstanding service

• Commitment to excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
