About the job
As Associate Director of Global Sales, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Develop, implement, and evaluate a well-defined and focused sales strategy and action plan in line with MOHG marketing plans, objectives and targets as agreed with the Director, Global Sales.
Manage a portfolio of top accounts in line with regional account list and develop, implement and evaluate key account plans for revenue growth
Initiate and escort targeted educational trips
Plan, manage and participate in annual Global Sales Calendar events for the region
Deliver on balanced score card (KPIs) in line with Global Sales strategy and guidelines inclusive of annual account list review
Strategically support hotels through participation in performance calls and internal business reviews, regional revenue/sales calls, market intel reports
Maintain good working relationships within all MOHG hotels and Head Office, ensuring prompt, informative replies to enquiries, quality lead generation and to provide thorough details on qualified accounts.
Keep abreast of and report on, market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback as needed
As Associate Director of Global Sales, we expect from you:
At least 5 years’ experience as a Senior Sales Manager/Asst. Director of Sales/Director of Sales within the hospitality industry, diverse experience on-property and in Global Sales will be an asset
Expert in French Travel Industry, Luxury/Fashion and MICE market
Outstanding sales and interpersonal skills, charismatic personality
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in French and English. Additional European language skills will be an advantage
Proven track record of exceeding revenue and growth goals
Significant sales experience, including the ability to influence, develop and grow a set of key accounts
Responsive and adaptive to changing workloads, timelines and outputs required due to the fast-moving pace of the industry and brands
Interpersonal Savvy - relates well to all kinds of people up, down, laterally, inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport, builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact
Strong experience building & maintaining client relationships
Presentation skills at all levels (travel advisors and C-level)
