About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich, the Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for the daily operations in our restaurant. The Assistant Restaurant Manager reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will responsible for the following duties:

• representing the Matsuhisa Munich brand

• successful co-leadership of the outlet

• drives changes & innovation

• develops a strong team as well as individual colleagues

• maintains stock and equipment

• delights colleagues and drives guests loyalty

• administration of the department

• enforces Code of Conduct, Guiding Principles, brand policies and health and safety guidelines

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, we expect from you:

• previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager in a high volume outlet required

• worked with international luxury hospitality brands before

• excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• fluent in German and English

• strong leadership skills
