About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Sales & Marketing Department in Singapore, the Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of integrated marketing initiatives for the hotel with a strong focus on digital marketing and performance marketing, social media and content execution.

To support the Marketing & Communications team in the day-to-day execution of marketing activities, with a focus on digital marketing (website, EDM, e-commerce), social media, OTA and paid media. The role will manage and coordinate content across key digital channels, support online campaigns and promotions, and ensure all platforms are engaging and aligned with the hotel's brand and commercial priorities.

The role will also support brand partnership campaigns, content creation, and hotel initiatives, while tracking campaign and channel performance to identify opportunities for optimisation. Working closely with internal departments, corporate teams and external agencies, the Assistant Marketing Manager will ensure marketing activities are delivered effectively, consistently and on time.

The role will work closely with the rest of the Marketing Communication team lead by Director of Marketing & Communications to implement digital marketing campaigns, optimize online content, monitor performance, and support business objectives. The role requires strong project management skills, analytical capabilities, and a passion for digital marketing trends and creativity.

As Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Supporting the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, seasonal initiatives, F&B promotions, partnerships and hotel activations.
  • Managing and updating website content, promotions and landing pages to ensure information is current, engaging and aligned with the hotel's brand priorities.
  • Supporting management of the hotel's online shop, including product listings, content, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Managing paid digital campaigns, including campaign set-up, creative assets preparation, monitoring and performance reporting.
  • Managing and optimising hotel content and promotions across key OTA platforms, ensuring accuracy and strong visibility to drive high content score and ranking.
  • Plan and execute monthly EDM to drive traffic to the digital channels.
  • Coordinating marketing content, photography, video and creative assets with internal teams, agencies and external partners.
  • Tracking and reporting on website, OTA and campaign performance metrics, providing insights to support optimisation.
  • Working closely with hotel departments and external partners to ensure marketing activities are delivered on time and in line with brand standards.
  • Regular update on weekly marketing status report and monthly marketing plan.

As Assistant Marketing Manager, we expect from you:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in digital marketing role, preferably in travel, hospitality or e-commerce industry.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics Adobe Analytics and social media management tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet tight deadlines in an agile environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in Chinese is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, website, e-commerce and OTA channels.
  • Knowledgeable on OTAs platforms and Chinese social media channels is preferred.
  • Experience in content creation, layout design with proficiency in Canva and other creative design tools preferred.
