About the Role
Based at Mandarin Oriental Paris within the IT Department, the IT Assistant will support the daily operations of all IT systems, ensuring smooth and efficient technological processes throughout the hotel. The IT Assistant will work closely with the IT team and report directly to the IT Manager.

As IT Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

IT Support

• Daily support for customers and colleagues

• Assistance with IT Routine Task List (38)

• Troubleshooting IT issues

Visual

• Dedicated AV services and support

• Coordination and execution of preventive maintenance

• IT support related to meetings and events

Project Management

• Project task tracking

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Tracking security operation tasks

What We Expect from You:

  • Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with hospitality-specific IT systems (e.g., PMS, POS) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic network management.
