We are looking for a dynamic Assistant F&B Manager who will be responsible for implementing the overall Food and Beverage operation in planning and managing the same including but not limited to staffing, financial, product innovation and departmental KPI’s. The primary goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction, employee engagement and ensuring the continuous development of the restaurants.
As Assistant F&B Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Oversee and manage Food and Beverage operation in collaboration with the Director of Food and Beverage.
Assist in the recruiting of high-quality colleagues and manage the development, motivation and retention.
Maintain staffing levels (hiring employees and/or scheduling work hours) through effective planning, which will ensure the efficient operation of a restaurant in accordance with company policy.
Identify potential or existing operational problems and initiate, develop, and implements appropriate solutions and measure results.
Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others demonstrating honesty, integrity and leading by example.
Develop and implement promotion and strategies in the food and beverage department to assist the resort in achieving food and beverage revenue goals.
Assist the Director of Food and Beverage to develop and manage the F&B department budget, including both revenue and expenses.
Maintain a positive cost management index for restaurant and bar operations.
Responsible for handling guest complaints/comments and using them for making improvements.
Develop and implement creative strategies to maximize spend per guest.
Ensure all LQA/Forbes standards are consistently met, and colleagues are trained on the LQA/Forbes concept and associated standards.
Work together with the Training Manager and Outlets Manager to develop effective training programs.
Personally, build clear and open lines of communication with all departments.
Work closely with the Event Manager for groups and events
Be actively involved in maintaining the Food Safety and Hygiene Standards.
Be critical and demanding of operating standards.
Be well versed and knowledgeable of the hotels Fire Evacuation and all Emergency procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure colleagues are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.
Be innovative with everything you do.
Work with HR on all initiatives relating to Talent management and development.
Create an environment that trains, develops, coaches and mentor’s colleagues.
Dedicate time to your personal development.
Drive ReviewPro action plan follows up monthly with direct reports.
Conduct monthly walkthrough with Engineering, Housekeeping and DH to ensure action and standards are maintained.
Develop action plans that focus on need areas and based on colleague engagement and guest satisfaction result.
As Assistant F&B Manager, we expect from you:
Ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues.

2 Years’ experience in a similar position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, People Management Skills.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Well versed with technology, which helps F&B to take the next level.
University degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
