To implement the MOHG Security Policies, Standards and Guidelines in the context of the circumstances and conditions of the hotel.
To ensure that employees, receive adequate training on all emergency plans and drills. Rehearsals, practical exercises, and the other forms of practice shall be conducted on a periodical basis, but not less than twice per year.
To provide written reports to Director of Security describing the performance, readiness, and other status issue of the security department.
To the extent reasonable and practical and after first notifying the Director of Security, with written order od prosecutor the security manager and security personnel shall be corporate with governmental agencies during official inquiries and investigations involving hotel personnel of matters involving possible criminal conducted by an employee, whether or not such conduct occurred on or off of the property.
To prepare the relevant fire safety procedures, standard operation manuals (SOP) according to Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (Safe & Sound) group standards. These documents are kept up to date.
To conduct security search and check on the entry points of property according to Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group P&P.
To ensure the reporting to relevant departments the constituent elements of risk. To help for start the improving activities.
Be intimately knowledgeable of Health, Safety, Fire and Security related rules and regulations pertaining to MOIST Hotel and all shared areas with the Director of Security.
Be proficient in obtaining witness statements, writing incident reports provided.
Investigate, administrate, and report all accidents with an emphasis on incidents. Record all relevant incidents in the Occurrence Book.
Comply with the Code of Practice for Security Staff.
Provide security awareness training and information to Associates as and when required.
Conduct random audits in all departments to ensure the policy on key control is adhered.
Conduct daily hazard patrols, communicating findings to relevant Associates for action in compliance to MOIST Risk Assessment strategies.
Conduct regular patrols of the compound with an emphasis is on public areas and means of escape.
To ensure that MOIST grooming standards are consistently maintained.
To ensure that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and reflect a professional image for our hotel and residences.
Creation and provision of Lost and Found processes throughout the building.
Set examples for all colleagues to emulate by complying with all Company Management policies and procedures.
To review scheduled functions, group or VIP arrivals, special events and gather information from relevant departments.
To control all aspects of key distributions and supervise all type of master key and metal key issuing.
To liaise with local authorities to identify activities that may affect the operation such as: terrorism actions, seasonal events, current community crime trends, political activism and other.
To maintain flexible demeanor in the personal scheduling of hours to facilitate special security considerations at any time of the day or night.
To look after all security equipment and to maintain the equipment’s accordingly.
To conduct security escort to specifically protect property, persons or to guard against conditions detrimental to the hotel. This escort duty shall be conducted only in the hotel premises.
To control access to serious crime/natural disaster scenes for the preservation of evidence pending the arrival of authorities.
To report and follow-up all security related guest disturbances or alleged theft incidents assuming that the established policies and procedures are adhered to.
To conduct special investigation on high profile security matters and prepares reports for Management review.
To supervise the maintenance of the security log entries to track all security officer patrol reports and subsequent security activities.
To review all occurrence reports prepared by security officers to ensure completed information, relevance, accuracy, and follow-up inquires.
To attend training, meetings and briefings as required by the Hotel Management.
To respond operational changes in the Security business as dictated by the government industry, Company and Hotel.
To ensure that the department operational budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled, and expenditures approved.
To assist in the building of an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, and development. Ensure you encourage them to maintain good relationships with their colleagues and all other departments.
To ensure that all employees always report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform/attire and nametag. In addition, to ensure they maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
To ensure that all employees provide a friendly, courteous, and professional service always.
To assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner.
To supervise the employees within the department, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Hotel and Department Operations Manual.
To ensure that security manager and the entire department employees read the MOHG Security and understand and adhere to the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
To comply with local legislation and be conversant and act in accordance with any such matters relating to your department.
Communicate any incident to Director of Security.
To conduct and/or contribute to regular Departmental Communication Meetings.
To ensure weekly work schedule and trainings & meetings are posted on time.
To ensure that all employees are treated fairly and consistently as outlined in their terms and conditions of employment, local legislation, and company / hotel policies and procedures.
To conduct as the main liaison person between the security contractor and the hotel management.
To ensure personal compliance with the Data Protection Act, (KVKK), (GDPR) and any other specific legislation that impacts upon, and exists to protect, the corporate health of the organization, whether relating to personnel management or service delivery.
To have flexible working hours and cover evening and weekend security operations.
