Assistant Director of Sales - Wedding

Major responsibilities:

  • Act as a “single contact “person between the customers and the operations department of the hotel prior to and during the event to completely delight and satisfy our customers, to be involved from the planning stage to execution of event.
  • To engage planning with each wedding client, create a memorable and innovative event, exceeding expectations on each occasion and to anticipate the needs of your organizer/clients, suggest authentically local ideas, provide support to your client through each step of the planning process.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination, reservation and arrangement of banqueting and events, functions and F&B requirements of these events.
  • Fully aware of any wedding/bridal industry trends, along with cultural wedding elements and establish good business and social relationships with the wedding/bridal industry and participate in activities related to public relations to further increase wedding leads for the department as well as the hotel.
  • To be accountable and responsible in line with the hotel’s sales strategy for maximizing revenue and achieving the yearly targets/budget expectations.
  • Maximise yield of the available function facilities by focusing on filling low demand periods and up selling high demand dates and by securing business beyond the current and budget year.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or relevant.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Wedding Sales.
  • Proficiency in English and Thai and in Computer skills.
  • Possess good leadership skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
