About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Engineering Department in Pylos, the A/C Refrigeration Engineer is responsible for efficiently carrying out maintenance, repair and replacement work for all A/C Refrigeration plants, while ensuring that standards and safety procedures are adhered to. The A/C Refrigeration Engineer reports to the Duty Engineering Supervisor.

As A/C Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Carry out all A/C Refrigeration plants planned preventative maintenance.

• Maintain, develop, and enhance the planned preventative maintenance schedule for all A/C Refrigeration plant equipment within the resort.

• Assist and support the Duty Shift Engineers on any A/C Refrigeration issues that may arise. 

• Report any discrepancies, unsolved issues and newly observed engineering problems to the Duty Engineering Supervisor and Managers as soon as possible.

• Is responsible for the safe storage of both personal and borrowed tools. 

• Is responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of all areas where work is performed. 

As A/C Refrigeration Engineer, we expect from you: 

• EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.

• A Degree or Diploma on air conditioning and refrigeration field.

• Proven experience of at least 3 years in the field.

• Understanding and ability to read electrical and refrigeration specifications.

• Possess a sound understanding working with electricity.

• Fluency in English & Greek.
