As Commis de Cuisine you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Ensuring the flawless preparation, quality and appealing presentation of our food in accordance with our high quality standards
- Ensuring that food waste is kept to a minimum
- Creative support in the development of a new, varied menu for our staff canteen
- Requesting goods in coordination with the supervisor and checking the daily receipt of goods
- Responsible for the daily control of hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines
As Commis de Cuisine we expect you to have:
- Completed training as a chef.
- Professional experience in a similar function - preferably in the upscale hotel/catering industry
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure - your position includes weekend and public holiday shifts
- Eye for detail and creativity - to bring your culinary signature to the table
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills - to manage your own post
- High level of commitment as well as a structured, results-oriented and independent way of working
- High quality awareness
- Very good knowledge of English, further foreign language skills are an advantage
