Responsibilities

To ensure through continuous physical checking of all areas within the Hotel and all aspects of the Engineering services, implementation of standard procedures to achieve the highest standard of maintenance.
With the assistance of the Director of Engineering and relevant H.O.D. carry out weekly tours of hotel kitchens, restaurants, bars and function rooms to ensure the highest standard of health and safety and maintenance is constantly achieved.
Constantly strive to reduce utility costs for the Hotel without reducing quality of service or impacting on our guest's satisfaction in any way.
To assist the Director of Engineering in Company's appraisal system for monitoring staff performance and development by providing direction and feedback to staff in adhering to service procedure.

To assist the management and supervision of the day to day operation in the engineering department of the hotel, to ensure product quality standards are achieved and that outstanding service is provided to guests and colleagues according to the hotel and MOHG standards and business objectives. Under the guidance of the Director of Engineering coordinate and supervise all contractors’ working within the hotel to ensure minimum disruption to the operations of the hotel and quality standards are achieved at all times.
