The Hotel

Purpose of Position
The IT Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of IT&T in the Systems and Technology for the Hotel and related business units as indicated. The primary customers of the IT&T Manager are the Hotel guests and colleagues, followed by the management and staff. The IT Manager goal is to provide excellent services that delight the guest and support customer requirements.
Standard Tasks
To manage daily IT&T needs and requests
To assume responsibility for the Hotel IT&T systems in the absence of the Director of IT
To be conversant with the Hotel IT&T Director responsibilities
The computer equipment and the computer room are kept clean and tidy and that all documents, master software and spares are organized in such a way that they are readily available.
Provide First line support to Colleagues and Guests
The systems are physically secure and data is password protected.
Antivirus software is installed, kept up to date and operational, so as to protect the hotel/office systems.
To follow the guidelines given in any standards and other documentation produced by the region or the group.
Ensure all local procedures and reporting comply with all MOHG Policies and Procedures and assist internal and external audit personnel in validating compliance.
Assist for purchases of hardware and software.
Assist The Director of IT&T for all IT related projects that happen within the hotel.
