The hotel IT Assistant is similar to the IT Supervisor role and provides additional support to the hotel IT Manager on the day-to-day IT support within the hotel they are based in. This includes, but not limited to first line colleague support, second line guest support, IT hardware and software maintenance tasks, system event alert rectifications and routine task management. The IT Assistant is an additional resource for the hotel on all IT and AV support issues (proactive and reactive). The IT Assistant is not limited to the weekday presence as with the Director of IT and IT Manager. The IT Assistant role can provide additional support to the IT Manager for extended support hours during weekdays or weekends.
