The Hotel

In addition, there is premium meeting and event space, including a 6,000 square-foot pillar-less ballroom with three walls of windows overlooking Central Park. Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones, make copies, send faxes and correspondence, sort and distribute mail.
  • Route PAF’S, purchase orders, check references, expense reports.
  • Provides Administrative support to entire People & Culture Team
  • Post open positions on our career pages and specialty job boards.
  • Close open positions on our career page and send regret emails to applicants. 
  • Assist Applicants with application forms and related paperwork.
  • Coordinate all applicant second interviews with perspective department managers.
  • Keep track of applicants that are being processed with regard to drug testing, background checks and offer letters as required.
  • Manage the full cycle background check processes including initiation, tracking, and follow up, as required.
  • Enter and maintain update colleague information in our HRIS/HRIM Systems.
  • Assist colleagues with inquires related to personal days, sick days, vacation requests, direct deposits, and other related forms.
  • Prepare employment verification and other letters and notices, as required.
  • Update and maintains colleague files.
  • Route and send colleague birthday cards.
  • Assists Learning and Development with new colleague orientation.
  • Experience

    • A minimum of 1-3 years administrative experience in People & Culture.
    • Previous experience in luxury environment or high-end establishment.
    • Previous experience with HRIS/HRIM Systems i.e. Workday, Ascentis.
    • Must possess ability to coordinate with multiple tasks.
    • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Excellent communication skills both written/verbal.
    • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
    • Requires high levels of interact with all members of staff.  Possess high degree of stamina, agility and flexibility.
    • Able to present themselves with an uplifting personality as well as presenting a high degree of confidentially.
    • Bi-lingual communication a plus but not required.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 hourly
