Summary
The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all aspects of the Front Desk functions, in accordance with hotel standards. Directs, implements and maintains a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective colleagues.


The Role of the Guest Services Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible to supervise the activities manages at the hotel front desk, including check-in/ check-out, guest requests and support and promotion of in-house activities. As a Guest Service Supervisor, you will oversee the front office activities between the guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments. A Guest Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities that create the first impressions of our Guests.
• Ensure effective implementation of the IMS policy and procedures
• Ensure continuous training and awareness of the IMS system
• Ensure OTPs are monitored and acted upon
• Ensure operational compliance to legal regulations and other requirements
• Identification of new activities that are in relation to EASI and HIRADC.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum SPM qualifications, preferably credits in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Graduate of Hotel School would be an added advantage
  • Previous working experience in hospitality or tourism related industry, preferably in Front Office operations but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of Par Springer Miller System (PSMS) and computer literate
  • Willing to work shift duties
  • Able to communicate well with both colleagues and guests
  • Outgoing personality with a friendly approach
