Mandarin Oriental, Prague is housed within a former 14th century monastery, and it is both a five-star luxury hotel and a wonderfully preserved piece of history. Blending contemporary design with period features, we offer a truly unique hotel experience. All 99 rooms at Mandarin Oriental, Prague, reflect a sense of tranquility and sophistication. Bright large spaces and open windows offer breezy views of the courtyard and city. 

You will play a key role in our Front Office team to support the luxury experience our guests from around the world enjoy at one of the Prague’s best hotels.

You will greet our guests and visitors on both arrival and departure courteously and professionally.  Ensure that the front entrance of the hotel is maintained, reflecting the hotel’s standards of excellence in order to create a lasting impression of warmth and hospitality and complete guest satisfaction during their experience at Mandarin Oriental, Prague by providing information and services in order to both meet and exceed our guest expectations.

  • To ensure that the front entrance is kept clean and tidy
  • To check arrival and departure reports so as to anticipate guests needs
  • To ensure that the main entrance is attended at all times
  • To assist guests on arrival by opening car doors, ensuring a warm welcome and that personal contact with concierge assistants is established
  • To unload any belongings, ensuring a smooth and safe flow to the concierge assistants
  • To ensure the safe parking of guest cars in our parking bays
  • To assist guests in providing taxis on request
  • To guide guests to pre-arranged transport
  • To drive guest cars when necessary to avoid parking penalties
  • To ensure a warm “Farewell” to all guests leaving the hotel, encouraging repeat custom
  • To ensure that luggage is handled promptly and safely
  • To give and receive handover information at the beginning and end of shifts in order to ensure effective communication
  • To ensure that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests

You must be passionate about guest service, have a previous experience in the same role from a luxury environment and have outstanding interpersonal skills with an energetic and vibrant personality. You must have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English and it is an advantage if you are fluent in Czech.
