About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair within the Housekeeping Department, the Turndown Attendant is responsible for delivering smooth running of Housekeeping Operations.

As Turndown Attendant, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • To perform all duties relating to the cleanliness, service and appearance of hotel rooms, corridors, storages, and public areas.
  • To provide a high standard service to guests and residents, anticipating their needs whilst also complying with MOHG and LQA quality standards.
  • To greet and welcome guests and residents in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
  • To provide guests and residents with requested assistance at all times or ensuring that any request is communicated to the relevant department.     
  • To ensure a general knowledge of all public area facilities and services in order to provide guests and residents with accurate information if required.

 

As Turndown attendant, we expect from you: 

A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service—someone who instinctively notices the little things, like a curtain that needs straightening or a bedsheet that could be smoother. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a thoughtful, considerate nature. Our most successful Turndown Attendants are those who go beyond the expected, finding small, often unexpected ways to delight our guests and enhance their stay. Please note: this is a part time role, 20 hours per week
