General Description

• Assist with architectural design of technical solutions for centralized corporate technologies at on-premises and cloud hosted solutions

• Enforce technical standards and guidelines related to system design at MO hotels and corporate offices

• Test new equipment and alternative vendor configurations.

• Maintain technical standards documentation related to server Infrastructure, server virtualization, Cloud IaaS and SaaS, Active Directory Services

• Provide 3rd tier technical support for guest facing network performance problems

• Conduct server security hardening updates in coordination with all

• Perform server capacity planning and optimization engineering

• Provide technical support for application enforce service level agreements

Communications:

• Regular communications with MOHG teams and vendors are required (both verbal and email).

• Planning and multi-tasking is a requirement of this position, since this position typically is lead for several concurrent projects.

• Communicate with hotel teams regarding outstanding tasks and deliverables and assist in maintaining the defined timeline.

• Participate in training and vendor activities concerning new technology and solutions.

Administration:

• Effectively coordinate timelines and deliverables. 

• Documentation of technical work is required with every project and standard.

• Assist in the coordination and communication of assignments within the department.  Communicate assignments and status to other MOHG departments as needed.

• Self-motivated, analytical, and possessing good interpersonal & problem-solving skills

• Willing to work outside of normal business hours with teams in other regional offices

• Willing to travel

Required skills and experience

• University degree in Information Technology preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience system administration and design

• Hands-on experience managing system access authentication and authorization

• Hands-on experience managing hyperconverged computing infrastructure

• Hands-on experience managing system load balancing

• Hands-on experience managing system storage

• Hands-on experience managing virtual switches

• Hands-on experience managing Azure Active Directory Domain Services

• Experience in deploying 802.1X access control mechanisms

• Specific OEM-oriented training and associated certification(s) may be required in this role. Preferred with professional certifications, (i.e. MCSE, VMware VCP, Nutanix NCA, etc.)

• Candidate should have a solid understanding of network theory

• Candidate must be a technology generalist who is capable of evaluating, designing, and implementing technical solutions across a broad range of technologies
